First time here?

What is a Sunday Service like?
The Sunday service is a time when our whole church family gathers to worship together through song and hear a sermon from the pastor. We pray and take an offering (but as our guest don’t feel obligated to give the church money). The coffee bar is open before church service from 9-9:30am and there are light snacks served as well. First time visitors, please have a coffee, tea or smoothie on us!
What is the preaching like?
Pastor Thom Turner
Lead Pastor
Thom’s public speaking experience coupled with seminary training has produced a Bible teacher with wonderful wit, warmth and realism. He was adjunct faculty of Bethel Seminary and San Diego Christian College for 5 years and was a founding board member of Young Roots Oregon. He has taught on, ‘Hope For the Journey’ radio broadcast for 3 years.
Thom employs primarily 3 styles of preaching: verse by verse, narrative style and topical style at times. Not only has he been warmly received at camps and conferences but he enjoys the openness and tranparency of preaching in the local church.
Pastor Dave Galceran
Associate Pastor
My hope as I preach and teach is to stay close in context with God’s word and use stories and illustrations to amplify the text. If folks go away from these times learning a nugget or two I believe I’ve communicated something that God has taught me through the study time of that given passage.
